About Upcycle Minerals Inc.
Upcycle Minerals, a Saskatchewan-based company, aims to become a low-cost, carbon-conscious producer in the fertilizer industry. Upcycle intends to use its newly developed brine to SOP production technology to produce potassium sulfate fertilizer (0-0-50) and two valuable co-products: ammonium sulfate fertilizer (AMS 21-0-0-24), and precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) an industrial mineral.
The company’s proposed production technology is patented under United States Patent number US12286358B2 and is pending in Canada. The company owns mineral leases/permits for the mineral inputs for its process; The Tuxford Potash permit as a source of brine, and the Lydden and Whiteshore Lake sodium sulfate deposits. The company also has a pending quarry lease near Gypsumville with the Government of Manitoba for gypsum, another important mineral input for its process.
The company plans to develop its project in two phases; a demonstration plant on its Tuxford mineral permit, approximately 18km north of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, followed by an expansion allowing for much higher production capacity.
Upcycle Minerals aims to obtain all necessary conceptual engineering studies, exploration, and meet all regulatory requirements to achieve its mission of developing its demonstration plant. For all inquiries about the Upcycle Project or its team, please contact us.
